Our Hormone Imbalance Test is a hormone blood test for women designed to diagnose changes in their thyroid or reproductive hormones.

- Time of day: This test is best done in the morning as testosterone levels are highest at that time.
- Stage of menstrual cycle: This test can be done at any time in the menstrual cycle.
- Women taking hormonal contraception or HRT: This can affect the test and it is better to stop these before the test until periods return to their normal pattern. Make sure to use other contraceptive methods during this time.
- Fasting: Fasting is not required for this test.
- Medications: Continue to take any prescribed medications as usual, unless advised otherwise.
- Purchase your test(s) online making sure to give the name and date of birth of the person(s) taking the test. These details are required by the lab to uniquely identify your sample.
