- Fasting: No fasting is required for this test.
- Medications: Continue to take any prescribed medications as usual unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
- Hydration: Maintain your usual fluid intake before the test.
- Menstruation: Women should avoid urine collection during menstruation, if possible, to prevent contamination.
