Why Choose the Advanced Allergy Test Panel?

This panel is helpful if you experience:

  • Hay fever and seasonal symptoms

  • Sneezing, itchy eyes, or blocked nose

  • Wheeze, asthma flare-ups, or chest tightness

  • Eczema, hives, or unexplained itching

  • Suspected food allergy triggers

  • Symptoms around pets or dusty environments

Results:

  • Availability: 2-3 working days
  • Presentation: Your results will be presented in an easy-to-understand format, highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Discuss with a doctor: After receiving your results you may choose to discuss them with a GP who can advise you on further management (additional fee).

Important limitations to understand:

  • A positive result shows sensitisation, not always true allergy
  • Results do not predict reaction severity
  • False positives and negatives can occur
  • Not suitable for food intolerance (rather than allergy) or delayed symptoms

Clinical history always matters.

How results are best used:

Accurate allergy assessment combines:

  • Your symptoms and timing

  • Specific IgE results

  • Real-world exposure response

Further steps may include avoidance trials or specialist referral.

Preparation Required:

  • Fasting: Fasting is not required for this test.
  • Medications: Continue to take any prescribed medications as usual, unless advised otherwise.
