Overview:

Our Ferritin Blood Test checks your body's iron storage levels.

Ferritin is the most important iron marker to check in iron deficiency anaemia rather than just your iron level. This is because your iron level is short-term and checks the amount of iron in the bloodstream at a particular moment and is based only on the last few days' meals, absorption and usage. Ferritin, on the other hand, checks your long-term iron storage which is much more vital to know in iron deficiency anaemia.

Please note that if you are feeling any tiredness symptoms or are known to suffer from anaemia, then it may be better to start with our Tiredness & Fatigue Blood Test or our Anaemia Blood Test.
