Overview:

Our Fungal Allergy Test Panel can help if your allergy symptoms persist indoors. Mould could be a trigger.
This panel measures specific IgE antibodies to common moulds and yeasts.
It also includes Total IgE to assess overall allergic tendency.

This test can be helpful for year-round rhinitis, asthma flare-ups, and cough.
It is also useful if symptoms worsen in damp buildings.

What This Test Includes:

 
  • Alternaria tenius
  • Aspergillus fumigatus
  • Cladosporium herbarum
  • Penicillium notatum
 
  • Baker’s yeast

  • Brewer’s yeast

Overall amount of immunoglobulin E. This is often raised in allergic conditions.

Preparation Required:

  • Fasting: Fasting is not required for this test. 
  • Medications: Continue to take any prescribed medications as usual, unless advised otherwise.

 

  1. Purchase your test(s) online making sure to give the name and date of birth of the person(s) taking the test. These details are required by the lab to uniquely identify your sample.
  2. You will get a confirmation email from us.
  3. We will process your order within an hour; Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
  4. Then, look out for the booking link email from our partner laboratory, Randox Health.
  5. Click on the link to book an appointment for your test.
  6. Attend to do your test.
  7. Results are emailed to you.

All laboratories need information regarding the client to uniquely identify their test sample.

Without these details, tests cannot be processed.

The minimum requirement is the full name, biological sex and date of birth.
